Instead of addressing the real issues of insecurity and mass killings our government is busy gambling with words - whether the killings are genocide or just ''mass killing.''
People are being killed daily and you're only interested in the description and nomenclature of the events.
That is how to know a ''now disgraced country.''
A country where ''anyhowness'' reigns.
A serious government would have declared a state of emergency the the heavily affected areas and moved the army headquarters to those locations.
The security chiefs are busy cooling off in their air conditioned Abuja offices and receiving fat salaries while the country is being consumed by a rampaging inferno.
The army security chiefs should immediately leave Abuja and relocate to terrorist endemic areas to do a comprehensive environmental assessment of the situation and engage the terrorists head-on.
I thinks Lagos state has more than 5 military cantonments. If that is true what are those cantonments doing in Lagos when there is war or heavy security threat there?
Why not relocate those establishments to areas where they are needed the most?
What exactly does it take to clear terrorist moving on motor cycles? A group of rag tags without coordination are defeating well trained Nigerian military? Isn't that absurd?
Why do we lack proper intelligence gathering? What are the Army chiefs doing if they cannot gather simple intelligence on how to crush terrorist moving on motor cycles?
Shouldn't we be asking for their resignation?
Do we need to wait until the entire country is overrun by terror groups?
