Dear Families,

Unfortunately, we were notified today that our gas lines will be shut off for construction on Friday, July 31, 2026. As a result, our Burlington avenue location will need to be closed that day. Without gas, we will not be able to meet required health and sanitation standards. Our kitchen will also be unable to operate and prepare meals for the children.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and wanted to provide families with as much advance notice as possible. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for the disruption!

Due to the impacts of yesterday’s storm, Bristol Child Development Center will be closed tomorrow at both locations.

This closure will allow time to assess any storm-related damage, hopefully restore services, and ensure that both of our facilities are safe for children and staff before reopening.

The safety of our children, families, and staff is our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

We will provide updates regarding reopening as soon as more information becomes available!

📦 It’s not a box, it’s a…! Be sure to stop by and see the beautiful creativity and work our classrooms have been doing for Work Together Wednesday. Boxes will be in the main hallway of our Burlington avenue location and the gym at our West St location. We are so proud of their hard work!

👩🏻‍🍳 We had so much fun celebrating Tasty Tuesday with this delicious yogurt bark recipe! Check out the instructions below to make your own!

1️⃣ Spread yogurt on a sheet of parchment paper in a cookie sheet.
2️⃣ Slice a banana into small pieces and spread out across your yogurt
3️⃣ Drizzle sun butter and sprinkle chocolate chips on top
4️⃣ Freeze for a few hours or until solid. Enjoy!
