Children Inc. of Bristol Children Inc. of Bristol is provided by Girls Inc. of Bristol, serving children 5-18 yrs. of Bristol. We serve children ages 5 - 18.

of Bristol is an afterschool program and summer program provide by Girls Inc. We are program based, so we focus on social skills, life skills, education and healthy living. We serve both boys and girls in the VA City school system and local Washington County VA schools. School year hours: 2pm-6pm Monday thru Friday. Summer hours: 7am - 5:30pm Monday thru Friday.

We have been trying to soak up this warm weather. The past two days we have went outside and played with chalk. They have had blast playing with chalk. Seeing the imagination these kids have drawing amazes me every day.

Today one of our staff created them an obstacle course that they absolutely enjoyed playing. I also asked our other staff to draw the ninja turtle. This weather is making us excited for the summertime. (They had so much fun today one of the kiddos took him a little nap. 😊)

Our children had an amazing time participating in Rev Your Bev Week! They explored fun and healthy alternatives to sugary drinks by creating their own delicious fruit-infused waters. From strawberries and oranges to limes and more, they got hands-on and creative while learning the importance of making healthier choices.

They had an amazing time getting to vote on their favorite foods and learning more about heathy choices. They also enjoyed bagging fresh fruits and share with their families.
