The family would like to share that services for Druid-Lake will be held at the OCS Gymnasium.

Viewing will begin Wednesday evening at 5 pm and continue through Thursday morning, with funeral services taking place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18th. A luncheon will take place at the cultural center following the service.

We are currently working on the obituary and will share it as soon as it is available. Thank you all for the love, prayers, and support you have shown the family during this difficult time.

We would like to inform you that there will be no Summer School or Culture Camp on Thursday, June 18. The school will be hosting services for a former student, and we wish to provide space for family, friends, and community members to gather in remembrance.

Thank you for your understanding as we honor his memory.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of former student, Druid Lake Warner.

During his time at OCS, Druid was an active and valued member of our school community. He participated in cross country, track and field, basketball, robotics, and numerous cultural activities, bringing enthusiasm, dedication, and a positive spirit to everything he did. Druid graduated with the Class of 2022.

More importantly, Druid was a kind soul whose warmth, compassion, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His presence touched the lives of classmates, teammates, staff, and friends, and he will be remembered with great affection.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Druid’s family, loved ones, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss. As a school community, we join together in remembering Druid and celebrating a life that made a difference in the lives of others.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved Druid during this difficult time.

Elementary basketball t-shirts

Please turn them in by Monday, June 15th.

Summer school starts tomorrow, Monday, June 8th. Hours are 9:00-12:00, Monday-Thursday.

Breakfast will be served at 8:45, lunch will be served at 11:30.

Our Anishinaabe Youth Summer Camp will run concurrently with summer school.
