Our new location will be located on the first floor of the new Allied Health Facility! We are eagerly awaiting the start of construction this spring!
BIG NEWS! π Bay Mills Community College is proud to announce the development of our cutting-edge Allied Health Facility!
Starting in May 2026, we will be constructing a 36,000 square-foot space on our main campus that is designed to train and empower the next generation of healthcare professionals with the tools they need to succeed and support quality local health care.
Imagine training in a high-tech simulation lab that feels just like a real hospital, or grabbing a bite in a brand-new cafeteria overlooking Lake Superior between classes. That future is just around the corner, with an expected opening in Fall 2027!
This photo is a stunning projection of what's to come - and is where dreams and careers will take flight.

We had a very exciting visitor last week!
Mittens has been traveling around Michigan to celebrate the 20th anniversary of MelCat! Our favorite fish, Gilly Gnoozhe, stopped by to welcome Mittens to BMCC. Gilly made sure to show Mittens the best view on campus - his home, Gichi-gami. πβ€οΈ
Although our library is currently downsized into a temporary space, Mittens was impressed with how much we were able to squeeze in! Before he headed out to another amazing Michigan library, he got to peek at the plans for the new building and is excited for all our big changes. π
Chi miigwech for stopping by Mittens! Weβre so happy to celebrate MelCat and all its amazing resources with you! Safe travels!
