BGS XC kicked off the 2026 season at Metamora today!

The girls varsity team placed second overall with lots of girls medaling!

The boys all raced great too. Congrats to Henry Hill for placing 10th in the boys open race!

Welcome back. A new year calls for a few quick reminders and updates to our arrival and dismal process. Check out the map for a visual of the drop off and pick up areas. Many of our streets around the building are one way streets so please look closely. All of our procedures and information is to ensure a safe orderly process while student's are coming and going.

Please be on the lookout for a family newsletter coming this weekend as well as information about our Parent Advisory Commitee, Handbook, and Attendance changes.

Congratulations to our Bright Futures program on receiving the highest designation from the Illinois Department of Early Childhood (IDEC), the Golden Circle of Quality! Mrs. Frail and Mrs. Binder have earned this designation multiple times and continue to prepare our students for success year after year!

Helping Every Child Thrive
Thursday, August 20

Peoria Riverfront Museum

Refreshments will be served

University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria pediatric
faculty will discuss healthy habits that help children succeed
in the classroom and beyond. From nutrition and physical
activity to sleep hygiene and mental health, the physician
panel will share tools and resources to help parents,
caregivers and teachers support children.
Following the program, attendees are invited to visit
the “Toytopia” exhibit at the Museum.
