Congratulations to Brooke Gibbons and Coach Carlson on her 5th place finish today in the Division 1 State Finals. It was an excellent two days of play with some of the finest talent in Girls Golf. She set an awesome example of sportsmanship and leadership this weekend! Thank you for your representation of Lapeer Brooke! WAY TO GO! ⚡️🏌🏼‍♀️⛳️

Day one of the State Finals. Lapeer’s Brooke Gibbons is tied for 4th in Division 1 out of 108 girls going into tomorrow. She shot a solid 3 over par 75 today. Good luck tomorrow Brooke! Lapeer is supporting you! ⚡️🏌🏼‍♀️⛳️

The Lapeer Lightning Girls finished Regionals today placing 4th overall, just missing qualifying as a team for the State finals. Congratulations to Brooke Gibbons for placing 5th and qualifying to move on to States as an individual. She will head to Grand Rapids next Friday and Saturday! Way to play today ladies, and way to represent Lapeer! ⚡️🏌🏼‍♀️⛳️

We were geared up for Regionals tomorrow, however since the weather doesn’t look so great, they will be held on Thursday at Oak Pointe in Brighton. Thursday’s weather will be perfect! Good luck ladies! ⚡️⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️

The SVL Championship was held at The Fortress today where they finished in third place. Congratulations to the varsity team for their overall second place finish in the league! Individual All Conference honors went to Brooke Gibbons for First Team, Madelyn Taormina and Callie Kennedy for Second Team and Emily Brecht and Kaylin Winther for Honorable Mention. What an honor that all five of our girls were selected!
