Boston Public Schools celebrates our 2025 valedictorians!

Thirty-Three Boston Public Schools seniors representing 32 high schools recently graduated at the top of their class. Each day over the next few weeks, we will honor one valedictorian, highlighting a little of what makes them so special.

Brighton High School: Aurora Denise Giglio Morales
Aurora Denise was born in Florence, Italy, but raised in Boston. She's a role model who has balanced a rigorous academic schedule with meaningful extracurricular involvement. She has been active on the debate and softball teams and participated in a prestigious Fulbright exchange program in Canada. She also earned the Seal of Biliteracy in English and Spanish. Aurora will attend Northeastern University to study Psychology, supported by the Northeastern Neighborhood Award.

Congratulation Mr Chase, honorary graduate of Brighton High School and member of the class of 2023.

Mr Chase left high school in 1943 to serve in WWII and never received his diploma. Today his life long dream came through when Veterans Commissioner Robert Santiago presented him with an honorary Brighton High School Diploma.

Thank you for your service Mr Chase. We are proud to have you among our BHS diploma recipients.
