My name is Polina, I am a professional artist and a Licenced Academic Visual Arts Teacher working in Boston, MA where I have been offering art classes for children and adults for the past 7 years. I graduated with Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from University of Massachusetts Boston and, following this, completed Masters Degree in Art Therapy at Lesley University. I am sensitive to each student's needs and flexible in my approach to teaching art by combining traditional classical school of training and modern expressive arts techniques. Being deeply influenced by Renaissance and Impressionist artists I utilize their techniques in my teachings. The step-by-step immersion into the world of visualarts helps children and adults to acquire and develop technical skills and encourage their self-expression.
