One last post! I am retiring as of today. This is the last bulletin board I put up. It pretty much speaks to all the messages I hoped to give our students for living a full and healthy life. I had 12.5 wonderful years at BHS working with students and staff. I love being a social worker. I wish you all the best things!

There is nothing like a great sports team to follow.
My youngest son asked for a Lion's theme bedroom when he was in 1st grade. His dad said to him, "Oh Sean, you are going to have a lot of years of disappointment." Well, we are all loving it now and how sweet it is. I hope you are a football fan and are filled with excitement!

I myself have learned to embrace winter since becoming a hiker. There really are clothes and boots that can keep you warm! I hope you find some suggestions in this article that are helpful to you. There is beauty in winter and the air is so fresh! Step outside!

What does it mean to make spirits bright?

When we embrace the notion of making spirits bright, we become the beautiful trimming that enhances life for all those around us. And, just as our own peaceful, joyful state of mind can spread to others, the good will we are creating flows back to us, making our
own experience of life quite wonderful indeed.

Share this concept with your teen and come up with ideas on ways to make your and other's spirits bright this season.
