As we conclude another wonderful school year at Holy Spirit Catholic School, we do so with full hearts, enriched minds, strengthened faith, and deep gratitude. Together, we have grown academically, spiritually, and socially, supporting one another as a caring community. We are thankful for the blessings, friendships, achievements, and memories that shaped this year and wish everyone a joyful, restful summer.

One more amazing person. And a whole lot of gratitude. đź’› Introducing our final Heartbeat for the 2025-2026 school year, Mrs. Gesell, Teaching Assistant.
1. How long have you been part of our community? - I have been part of Holy Spirit School. on and off. for 5 years.
2. What do you love most about teaching or serving in a Catholic school? - I love how the staff interact and teach the children with a Christ like dedication
3. What is one small moment in the school day that brings you joy? - The daily class reading of the Bible. The children blow me away with their excitement, knowledge and questions. I honestly think it is one of their favorite times of the day.
4. What Saint inspires you most in your work or life? Why? - Our Blessed Mother. I believe that she wants to be everyone’s Mother. She is my inspiration.
5. What’s your go-to classroom snack, rink or teacher survival fuel? - Dark chocolate, homemade chocolate chip cookies
6. What’s something you’re oddly good at? - Playing with preschoolers.
7. What’s a fun or surprising fact about you that families might not expect? - This year my daughter is getting married and my two son’s wives are expecting babies. 2026 is a trifecta year for us!
8. If you could give parents one piece of encouragement as they raise their children in faith what would it be? - Keep loving them like Jesus does. Forgive them quickly and move on
9. Holy Spirit Catholic School feels like home to me because… Jesus’ love is everywhere.

1. How long have you been part of our community? - Emily Parsons. Art teacher. I started at Holy Spirit in 2015.
2. What do you love most about teaching or serving in a Catholic school? - I love teaching in a Catholic school because the community is supportive and loving.
3. What is one small moment in the school day that brings you joy? - When students are in the midst of creating artwork, and I recognize their skills are growing.
4. What’s one fun tradition at Holy Spirit you look forward to every year? - Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest
5. What’s your go-to classroom snack, rink or teacher survival fuel? - Electrolytes & good sleep!
6. What’s something you’re oddly good at? - Drawing a circle
7. What’s a fun or surprising fact about you that families might not expect? - In warmer months I drive my car on a raceway with other cars. I’ve gotten up to 134 mph.
8. Holy Spirit Catholic School feels like home to me because… everyone cares for one another.

1. How long have you been part of our community? - Since 2024.
2. What do you love most about teaching or serving in a Catholic school? - To be with students at mass and pray together during class.
3. What is one small moment in the school day that brings you joy? - Morning teacher’s prayer.
4. What Saint inspires you most in your work or life? Why? - Virgen de Guadalupe, because is she is the patroness on my home country
5. What’s one fun tradition at Holy Spirit you look forward to every year? - Christmas celebrations
6. What’s your go-to classroom snack, rink or teacher survival fuel? - Tea
7. What’s something you’re oddly good at? - Snow sports.
8. What’s a fun or surprising fact about you that families might not expect? - I am from three countries.
9. If you could give parents one piece of encouragement as they raise their children in faith what would it be? - Always listen
