Dear Vikan Middle School Families,

I’m pleased to share that Fabricio Velez has been selected as the principal of Talon Ridge Middle School. Mr. Velez brings strong experience in building effective systems and structures that support both students and staff, along with a proven ability to develop people and lead with clarity and purpose. His thoughtful, intentional approach to leadership will help ensure Talon Ridge opens as a well-organized, student-centered school grounded in a strong culture and continuous improvement.

Mr. Velez will remain in his current role through June 30, 2026, to support a smooth and successful transition. In the coming weeks, we will begin the process of identifying the next principal for Vikan and will keep the community informed as the process moves forward.

Please join me in congratulating Mr. Velez on this exciting opportunity. We are confident in the leadership he will bring to Talon Ridge Middle School and look forward to the future ahead.
