Brighton’s Austin Sickler talks Division I baseball goals
If you watched the Brighton Bulldogs on the diamond this spring, No. 4 likely drew your attention a handful of times per game. After all, that’s Austin Sickler, who is headed to the University of Evansville in August to play Division I baseball.

BPD Officers are conducting training today at Brighton High School until 5:00 p.m. There will be a visible increase in patrol cars around the school. If you are in the area or neighborhood, you may also hear simulated noises coming from the school. Do not be alarmed, as this is a planned training. This training will not affect our normal patrols or operations. 🐾🚔👮♂️

Congratulations to the numerous BHS Bulldogs (some present & others unable to attend) that were recognized at the 27J BOE meeting this evening for earning State and/or National Championships, Recognition or Awards across numerous fields such as Track & Field, Wrestling, Choir, Yearbook, ProStart (Culinary), Trade Skills, & as recipients of major college scholarships! 🏆🎉🎯🐶🐾

Celebrate the grand opening of Erger’s Dog Park this Friday, June 12, with giveaways and your pup! The grand opening of Erger’s Dog Park will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. Erger's Dog Park is located at 754 W Southern Street.
This new three-acre park features separate large and small dog areas (with all dogs welcome in the large area), agility obstacles, mounded tunnels, and walking trails. 🐕🦺

The City of Brighton is moving forward with major improvements along Sable Boulevard, from East 132nd Avenue to Bromley Lane. This work includes continued construction of the Sable Outfall storm drainage system, an important project that must be completed before intersection upgrades can be finalized.
Plan ahead, use alternate routes, and drive safely through work zones.
