Most Outstanding Female Athlete - Kiahna Spellman
The Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award recognizes excellence in athletics, academics, leadership, and character, and this year’s recipient truly represents all of those qualities.
As an inaugural member of the BHS Lady Bulldogs Wrestling Team, Kiahna Spellman helped build the foundation for girls wrestling at BHS while becoming one of the top wrestlers in Colorado. She is a four-year varsity letter winner, four-year team captain, three-time CHSAA State Qualifier, two-time Regional Champion, and a 2025 CHSAA State placer, finishing 5th in the state. Ranked #2 in Colorado at 120 pounds, Kiahna finished her career with an incredible 161 wins and 146 pins while earning All-State, All-Conference, and Academic All-State honors.
Beyond athletics, Kiahna excelled in the classroom as a National Honor Society member, AP scholar, and student leader through Link Crew and community service.
Next year, she will continue her wrestling and academic career at Western Colorado University, where she earned multiple scholarships, including the university’s highest merit scholarship.
Kiahna Spellman’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence make her a truly deserving recipient of the Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award.
