🌟 Big Congratulations to Spencer Elementary 4th grader Addie Bossory! 🌟
We are excited to share that Addie earned a Gold Award in the Michigan Design Prize statewide competition! 🏅

Earlier this year, 3rd and 4th grade students explored the Michigan Design Prize challenge as part of STEAM. This year’s challenge asked students to design a piece of furniture that solves a problem or meets a specific need. While all students participated in the classroom project, submitting an entry to the statewide competition was completely voluntary.

Addie chose to take her design beyond the classroom and submit her work for judging. Her creativity, innovation, and thoughtful problem-solving earned her a Gold Award among students from across Michigan!

We are incredibly proud of Addie for taking on this challenge and representing Spencer Elementary so well. Please join us in congratulating her on this amazing accomplishment!

The Brighton Arts and Culture Commission will once again be hosting the Children’s Summer Series at the AMP this summer.

All events will take place on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM throughout June and July and will feature a variety of fun-filled entertainment, such as musical performances, magic shows, dance parties, and more. All events are free to attend and designed for children of all ages to enjoy.
