Next up in our Ag department in Mrs. Dana Mills. You may have heard of our Veterinary Clinic right here at Brighton High School. Mrs. Mills is the face behind this amazing service and runs our Veterinary Science program. We asked Mrs. Mills, "What is one thing students would be surprised to learn about you?" Her reply,

"I have an equine background and I always wanted to be a marine biologist to work with dolphins. I was too worried about hurricanes and moving that far from my family."

Happy Monday! We saved our biggest department here at BHS to close up the month, our AG department. Meet Ms. Beca Breckenridge who holds down the shop out here. We asked Ms. Breckenridge, "What is one thing students would be surprised to learn about you?"

She said,
"I have been to almost all 50 states!"

Our CTE department is prepping for the 5th annual Career Fair on Thursday, October 22. If you have a business and would be willing to talk with our students, please click the link to submit your information. We look forward to hearing from you! Last year we had over 50 booths of businesses and trades to show our students what their future could look like!
This year we also would like to add community outreach groups to show our students what your organization does and how they can be involved!

The second half of the dynamic duo in Education and Hospitality is Mrs. Katy Greathouse. This year she also took on the role of Work Based Learning Coordinator. We asked her, "What is your favorite school-day phrase" and she replied,

“WHY are y’all so loud”
“Fix your face”
“Dude - READ the recipe”

We are starting the week off with Education and Hospitality! Many of our own teachers here at BHS and throughout Tipton County are a product of Mrs. Kate Scott.

We asked Mrs. Scott, “What is one thing students would be surprised to learn about you?” She replied, “I’ve been 25 for 20 years!”
