Hello poets who are living in Alabama! The Alabama State Poetry Society is selecting a representative for the 2026 Blackberry Peach National Poetry Slam in Kansas. Members of ASPS will be voting on videos! If you would like to be our representative, please submit an individual performance video of an original poem written by you, no longer than five minutes, with no musical accompaniment, to [email protected] by May 1, 2026. ASPS will pay registration to the event, and provide a $500 stipend to assist with travel and lodging. Thank you!
