A couple of future Lady Vikings crashed the workout this morning.

Presley and Prue jumped in with the girls for a few exercises, moved some weights, got some work in and — most importantly — had fun doing it.

That’s how it should start.

Teach them young that being active isn’t a chore or something you have to do. Running, jumping, getting stronger and taking care of your body is just part of life.

And judging by these two, they’re off to a pretty good start.

Youth training programs are coming soon to G45 Strength & Conditioning.

We’re ready for the next generation.

There's something special about athletes who choose to spend part of their summer in the weight room.

This week the Oxford Hills Girls Basketball team hit the weight room, putting in the work before the season ever begins. Every workout is another opportunity to get a little stronger, move a little better, and build confidence that carries onto the court.

Progress doesn't happen overnight. It's built through consistency, showing up, and stacking good days together. Proud of the effort these girls bring to every session.

Looking forward to seeing all of that hard work pay off this winter.

Go Lady Vikings! 💚💛

Somewhere along the way, people started believing that being good at something is something you're born with.

It isn't.

Most people who are strong today weren't strong a year ago. The people who run races couldn't always run a mile. The people lifting weights with confidence all started with an empty bar.

The difference isn't talent. It's repetition.

Show up. Practice. Improve a little. Repeat.

Day after day, those small efforts turn into something people call "natural ability."

If you want to be great at something, stop waiting to feel ready. Just keep practicing.

That's how confidence is built. That's how strength is built. That's how lives change.

What is your why?

Every message on the G45 board tells a story.

Some want to keep up with their kids.
Some want to hike mountains, ski longer, or travel without limitations.
Some want to feel stronger, have more energy, improve their health, or simply be able to put a suitcase in the overhead compartment without asking for help.

None of these goals are about chasing perfection.

They're about protecting the life you want to live.

At G45, every workout is more than an hour of exercise. It's an investment in your future. The strength you build today becomes the freedom you have tomorrow.

The best part?

There isn't a right answer.

Your "why" is personal.
Your journey is your own.
And every time you walk through the door, you're choosing that future over the excuses that try to keep you home.

So...

What's your why?

Grab a marker the next time you're in and add it to the board. You might be surprised how your reason inspires someone else.

"Your anxiety is a lying hoe."

It made me laugh the first time I read it... but the more I thought about it, the more true it felt.

Anxiety has a way of convincing you that you're not enough. That you're going to fail. That everyone is judging you. That it's safer to stay home, stay quiet, or stay comfortable.

The problem is... anxiety speaks with confidence, not truth.

When Dianna first walked through the doors of G45 in March, she wasn't chasing a personal record. She wanted coaching, accountability, and the confidence to learn something that felt intimidating. Like so many people, she had that voice in her head telling her all the reasons she shouldn't start.

Then came the part that had nothing to do with lifting heavier weights.

"Before heading into my class, I feel like the day's tasks are the ones driving me through my day. It is a noticeable difference to leave G45 feeling like you are the one driving."

That's what fighting anxiety looks like.

It's not about never feeling anxious. It's about refusing to let anxiety sit in the driver's seat.

Some days the hardest victory isn't setting a personal record or crushing a workout. It's simply walking through the door when every part of you wanted to turn around.

Strength isn't the absence of fear. Strength is choosing to move anyway.

If anxiety has been talking loudly lately, don't let it make your decisions for you.

Show up.
Take one step.
Lift the weight.
Ask for help.
Keep going.

You don't have to beat anxiety in a day.
You just have to stop letting it drive today.
