Today, on National Substitute Appreciation Day, we pause to thank our substitutes who take the lead and allow students to continue learning when their teachers cannot be in the classroom. Substitutes are amazingly adaptable and willing to assist in any way they can, often without much notice. Your flexibility and professionalism make you vital members of your school staff because you allow the routine of a school day to continue without a glitch.
