Such important work.
What can Buddhist ethics contribute to some of the most urgent questions of contemporary life?
At the fifth biennial Buddhist Ethics Symposium, scholars gathered at BCBS to explore karma and justice, abuses of power in Buddhist communities, artificial intelligence and digital suffering, and the question of who or what experiences dukkha and needs liberation.
The setting at BCBS was an important part of the experience. BCBS brings the study of Buddhism into conversation with the question of how we live, deepening ethical reflection on the conditions of contemporary life.
