The past twenty-five years, I’ve presented the Mama Prince Scholarship award to graduating seniors from Bridgewater, Franklin Twsp and the surrounding communities. I’m proud to say that we’ve given over $15,000 to help those students heading off to institutions of higher learning. This year’s recipient Lingesh Sashi Kumar, is headed off to Rutgers University in pursuit of a degree in Computer Science and Data Science.
Cultivation to the mind is as necessary as food to the body. Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

Parents & Students,

Hope all is well.

Please see attached our June calendar and note the following items:

1. We will be closed Memorial Day weekend; Friday, May 22nd through Monday, May 25th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26th.

2. Testing for Advanced students, Teens & Adults will begin Monday, June 1st through Saturday, June 13th. On Friday, June 5th from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM, there will be an Invitation only Kumite testing for certain advance students.
On that day Friday June 5th, there will only be a 4:00 Beginner and 4:45 Jr & Sr. Intermediate class combined.

3. Also, see attached the current status of each students’ evaluation and belt ranking. At the bottom of this message are the top 30 students.

5. For the past fifty years, I have sponsored a book report contest. Please see the attached rules and entry form, which can also be obtained on our web-site or in “EYN PMA”

6. Please be reminded that students attending classes in the dojo must make reservations and if you cannot make it, you must cancel or you will be charged for that class.
