Although a native to Western PA, Ms. Heather began h

er teaching career in Dublin Ireland. Upon returning to Pennsylvania, she continued following her passion for teaching which now spans over 20 years. Her educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science degree from IUP, certification in teaching Montessori, and completing several continuing educational trainings in early childhood development. Her class subject matter is derived from fundamental early childhood teaching methodology, her focus is not the class but on each individual child that has been entrusted to her. She firmly believes that a child’s educational experience should include a wide variety of experiences that both make learning fun, but also prepare them for the next stages of their educational journey. As for herself, she derives a great deal of satisfaction when she sees your child have an, “I get it.” moment. She began teaching to fulfill her passion for children, she has made teaching her career because she loves making a positive impact on a child’s life. Gwen started her time at Puzzle Place in 2020 as a kids fitness instructor and discovered a passion for teaching young children how to navigate the world. Since then, she's taken on the role as Ms. Heather's full time co-teacher. Along with her time at Puzzle Place, Miss. Gwen has years of experience caring for and teaching children, primarily her six years of swim lessons with children of all ages. Seeing her students grasp a new concept surely brings her joy, but watching a child come out of their shell and blossom as an individual is her favorite part of teaching. Rennae
You most likely will never see Ms. Rennae in the classroom as her greatest asset is behind the scenes. Rennae is originally from Lancaster, PA and made Pittsburgh her home a little over 10 years ago. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in Accounting. She is the proud momma of a former Puzzle Place graduate and knows first-hand the love and care that Ms. Heather and Miss. Gwen invest into each student that attends the school.
