St. Louis Community College has received a $10.8 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to expand access to workforce training in Missouri. STLCC will administer the statewide award through the four-year Missouri Partnership for Advanced Manufacturing, AI Infrastructure and Career Training initiative.
Working alongside Missouri’s community colleges, state partners and employers, the College will help develop and strengthen short-term training programs connected to high-demand careers.
Across the state, the initiative will support the creation of 34 new programs, enhance 44 existing programs and enroll more than 2,500 students in Workforce Pell-eligible programs by September 2030.
At STLCC, programs identified for development as part of the statewide effort include HVAC technician, general maintenance mechanic, commercial truck driving, industrial automation and CompTIA Security+.
