CubPackOne Bridgeton

This Saturday our Pack participated in the Osprey District Pinewood Derby.

Congrats to Lucas for placing 2nd in the Webelo/AOL race!

Drew placed 10th for the Tigers, AJ placed 8th, Josh placed 12th, and Jack placed 13th for the Wolves, Asha placed 12th for the Bears, and David placed 9th in the Webelos/AOL race.

Fractions of a second separated the winners in each age bracket, making it an exciting day of racing competition.

Last Saturday was Cub Pack One's Blue & Gold Banquet. Our theme was "Liberty in Action" as part of the US celebrating it's Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) this year. We awarded all our Cub Scouts with belt loops & other awards earned so far this year. We also celebrated our Arrow of Light Scouts as they finished their rank and crossed over to Troop One. Congratulations to all the boys! Thanks to all the families & leaders for all that you do!💛💙⚜️

Last night our wolves and 1 bear earned their Spirit of the Water Adventure at our Wetlands Institute Overnight.

They held and learned about each animal in the touch tank and explored the Secrets of the Saltmarsh Aquarium.

Then they held diamondback terrapins and a baby snapping turtle in the Terrapin Room.

Next was a trip to the secret employee room where they learned about water testing and treatment used to keep animals healthy.

On our night hike we saw fish swimming by with night vision goggles. Then talked about ways to conserve water. They also did an activity where they tried to remove pollutants from water before climbing the stairs to the Tower for some night views.

The night ended with a snack and a Wild Kratts episode.

CubPackOne Bridgeton and Girl Scout Troop 51902 participated in the Authority's Trash Hunt this morning and cleaned up the beach at Sunset Lake and the trail over to Piney Point.

At the Wolf/Tiger meeting this past week the boys had fun completing their Germs Alive Adventure. 🧫🧼🎶

Pinewood Derby 2026⚜️🏎🏁

All the boys (& their adults) did a great job making & designing the cars. Thanks to all the adult leaders for all planning & setting up this fun event!

Our Cub Scouts had fun jumping at Launch last night! Our Council held an event for all the scouts that sold over $1250 in popcorn this past season. The boys all earned Top Seller patches & certificates. Keep up the great work! 🍿⚜️🏅

The Cub Scouts worked on their Council Fire Adventure tonight. They created gingerbread house models of their homes & community buildings, then put them together to create a neighborhood.🎄🏫🍭

The Cub Pack One Scouts did a great job as Little Drummer Boys spreading cheer at the Bridgeton Christmas Parade on Saturday!🥁🎅☃️

Tonight, the Wolf & Tiger Scouts colored & constructed toy soldiers to help decorate their float at the upcoming Bridgeton Holiday Parade. The boys will also be making drums out of recycled materials (Pringle cans & coffee canisters) to wear & carry a tune at the parade.
