We would like to thank leaders and members of Girl Scout Troop 51283 and the Littoral Society for working hard to get our garden beds planted with native plants donated by The Pollen Nation!

In the first of a two-part series, Michelle from the American Littoral Society worked with scouts to design a garden of native plants that will benefit pollinators and local wildlife. The second session -- the actual planting -- was held last night!

We'd like to thank everyone that helped including our teen volunteers and parents!

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to earn volunteer time by helping with a gardening project at the library! We’ll be helping a local Girl Scout Troop plant native plants in our garden beds. Teens should wear clothes and shoes that they don’t mind getting dirty. Registration is required.
