🎓 Where Are They Going Wednesday 🎓

This week, we're celebrating Jaylynn Diaz, a member of the Woodland Country Day School Class of 2026!

Although Jaylynn was only part of the Woodland family for one year, she made a lasting impression on our community with her gentle demeanor, kind heart, and warm smile. The daughter of Beatrice and Jose, Jaylynn embraced the challenges of joining a new school and quickly rose to meet the high standards of academic excellence that define a Woodland education.

Jaylynn was also an integral part of our school musical, working behind the scenes as a member of the backstage crew and costume team. Her dedication, teamwork, and willingness to help wherever she was needed played an important role in bringing the production to life.

This fall, Jaylynn will continue her journey at Cumberland Regional High School, and we have no doubt she will accomplish amazing things. While our time together was brief, we are incredibly grateful she chose to spend part of her educational journey with us.

Congratulations, Jaylynn! We are so proud of you and wish you nothing but success as you begin this exciting new chapter. Once a Panther, always a Panther! 💙🐾

🎭🐠 The curtain is almost up! 🐠🎭

Our Summer Stage campers, under the direction of Mrs. Tsvang, have been hard at work bringing Finding Nemo KIDS to life!

In just four days, our talented cast and crew have been incredibly busy painting the set, hanging lights, tuning microphones, learning lines, and putting all the finishing touches on what promises to be a fin-tastic performance.
Now it's time to see all of their hard work come together!

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Paislee Beswick, Class of 2026! 💙

Although Paislee officially joined the Woodland family as a student in the fall of 2024, she has been part of our community for many years through our beloved summer camp programs. Her connection to Woodland continued to grow when she enrolled mid-year, and shortly after, her younger brother, Landon, joined our PK program.
In her time at Woodland, Paislee made a lasting impact. As a proud member of the National Junior Honor Society, she demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and leadership. She also wowed audiences with her incredible talent on stage as Vivian in our winter production of Legally Blonde.

Watching Paislee grow from a camper into a confident, accomplished young woman has been a true privilege. We are proud to call her a Woodland alumna and can't wait to see all that she accomplishes at Cumberland Regional High School.

Congratulations, Paislee, on already earning a spot on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad! 📣 We know this is just the beginning of many amazing achievements. Once a Panther, always a Panther! 🐾💙

This award is presented to a coordinator who truly shines in every aspect of the Healthy Kids Running Series mission - demonstrating outstanding character, exceptional service to the community, and a passion for helping children develop a love of running and healthy living.

Mike's dedication to the Stow Creek Healthy Kids Running Series has made a lasting impact on so many local families. Through his leadership, the program has continued to grow while creating a fun, welcoming, and encouraging environment for every child who crosses the starting line.

What a fun two weeks at Video Game Camp! 🎮

Our campers didn't just play video games; they learned all about them! Campers explored the history of gaming, from the video game crash of the 1980s and the console wars between Nintendo and Atari to the introduction of PlayStation and Microsoft, and even talked about what the future of gaming might look like.

The best part? Our campers became creators themselves, designing their own video games and sharing them with a real-life video game playtester! A huge thank you to Ms. Ivy for taking the time to visit Woodland and give our campers feedback and encouragement. It was an experience they won't forget!

While we wrap up another great week of summer camp, we're already looking ahead to next week's Summer Stage! Our campers will be diving into Finding Nemo, Jr., and we can't wait to see them bring this beloved story to life.
