We service communities in Missouri and Arkansas with pride, and look forward to training the next generation of Emergency Medical Technicians to do the same! *COVID-19*
The state of Missouri has determined that EMS education is an essential education and can be carried out in person with specific safety guidelines. Medic One is proud to say that our daily procedures for Covid-19 safety have kept o
ur staff safe and healthy. Our building is sanitized daily and after each event, such as an EMT class. All of our equipment including ambulance and class equipment is sanitized after each use as well. Our classroom here at Medic One is very large and therefore, even with a maximum class capacity of 16 students, we have enough room for each student to socially distance at their own workspace. We do require that all students and instructors wear a mask while in the building. ACE also has a plan together in case the state requires that we learn virtually. Medic One still offers clinical time on our own ambulances and will be fit testing each student with an N95 and providing full PPE for any Covid-19 patient transfers while on clinicals. We have kept our crews, patients, and families healthy and safe and intend to follow the same precautions in order to keep our students safe as well.
