Planting began at the pollinator garden at H. Smith Richardson Golf Course sponsored by . Karen Secrist and all the other volunteers toiled through super compacted soils to install the plant material. We developed a stormwater basin at the 4th Tee at the Smith Richardson Golf Course in Fairfield, CT. Earthwork is almost complete. Seeding will occur shortly. It is a bit late for seeding, but we will see how things progress. We developed the seed mix in collaboration with Ernst Seeds. We will post regularly to monitor progress. The full benefit of these endevours require 2-3 years, but that is why landscape architecture is a profession of patience. But am I patient?
