The Brideport Spark City Team #3634 2026 season officially came to a close last week and what a powerful way to end it!
We were honored to welcome the Yale University Engineering NSBE Collegiate Chapter to our space at University of Bridgeport once again who led our students through hands-on Mechanical Engineering and AI activities, while also sharing their inspiring journeys from high school to Yale. These dedicated college students first reached out back in the fall and have been consistently engaged in supporting the success of our team this season.
Just a few weeks ago, we were also deeply honored to be recognized at their first annual Charity Dinner, where proceeds were generously donated to support Spark City Team #3634. The evening featured an outstanding panel of young professionals who shared their education-to-career journeys and spoke thoughtfully about balancing ethics and environmental justice within their industries.

This NSBE Collegiate Chapter truly exemplifies and lives out the NSBE mission. We are grateful for their commitment, partnership, and impact and we look forward to continuing this work together next year!

Here’s to another incredible FRC season! 🚀

Our Team Spark City #3634 gave it their all this season! Meeting 4 to 5 times a week from January through March. Starting with raw materials like metal, wood, plastic, and aluminum, this dedicated group of high school students designed, programmed (in Java!), and built an industrial-sized robot to compete in this season’s action-packed game, .

Our students proudly attended two New England FRC competitions on back-to-back weekends in Hartford and Worcester, MA, finishing the season ranked 17th out of 39 teams. 💪

While we didn’t advance to Championships this year, we did earn the Spirit Award for displaying enthusiasm and teamwork! This was a great experience and lessons learned to fuel us for an even stronger 2027 season!

In the spirit of Gracious Professionalism, we send our congratulations and best of luck to all the teams competing this weekend in Agawam, MA! 👏🤖
