Meet some of our Speakers!

We are thrilled to have 36 girls registered and cannot wait to welcome them for an unforgettable weekend of inspiration, STEM, leadership, and sisterhood. We still have room for a few more participants, so don't miss this opportunity!

This year's program will feature ACCESS alumni who are traveling back to Connecticut to share their college experiences and professional journeys, showing our girls what's possible when they invest in themselves.

Participants will also engage with seasoned STEM and industry professionals leading hands-on workshops and activities designed to build confidence, curiosity, and future career aspirations. We are especially excited to present our Health Careers Pathway Panel, presented by Yale New Haven Health and moderated by Dr. Judith Absalon, Head of Specialty Development at GSK, featuring accomplished women sharing their journeys and insights into careers in healthcare and the life sciences.

She Looks Just Like Me is more than a summer program. It's a chance for girls to explore STEM careers, connect with accomplished women, develop leadership skills, and gain the confidence to pursue their goals.

Participants leave with new knowledge, new connections, and a stronger belief in what they can achieve. The experiences and inspiration gained during the program often extend far beyond the classroom.

Parents know that confidence grows when girls are given the opportunity to explore new interests, meet inspiring mentors, and discover what they are capable of all in a safe enviroment.

"She Looks Just Like Me" is designed to do exactly that on the campus of the University of Bridgeport. Through STEM exploration, leadership development, and meaningful connections with positive role models, participants will gain experiences that can shape how they see themselves and their future.
