Start your career as a Dockhand and work toward becoming a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Motor Launch Operator.

We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals who:
Enjoy working outdoors
Like interacting with people
Have a strong work ethic
Hold a valid boating license (required)
Have boating experience (preferred)

As a Dockhand, your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and maintaining our fleet of vessels
Fuel sales and dock operations
Assisting with docking by catching lines
Maintaining our buildings and grounds
Providing outstanding service to our members and guests

We offer a flexible schedule with weekend hours included, making this an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain valuable boating experience and develop new skills.

Thank you to Bridgeport Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Avery and Harry Bell for joining our balloon group!

We are partnering with the 2026 Ringmaster Tom McCarthy and the Barnum Festival for Bridgeport’s annual Great Street Parade, and we are looking for volunteers to help bring one of the parade's most exciting NEW attractions to the streets of Bridgeport, giant balloons!

Have you ever watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and wondered what it would be like to help guide one of those massive balloons down the street? Now is your chance to find out!

On Wednesday, we hosted our Aqua Cup cocktail boat race. Everyone brought the energy, creativity, and competitive spirit.

On Friday, our Blue School Network students attended the Blue School Symposium at The Maritime Aquarium! 🌊🐠
They joined schools from across the Long Island watershed to share learning around climate action, marine debris, salt marsh ecology, water quality, and more.
Our students proudly presented their work on Water Quality & Biodiversity Monitoring, highlighting their commitment to environmental stewardship and hands-on science learning. 💙♻️
