We are the Nation's "Generation with a Vision"; we are the tomorrow.

After representing the University of Bridgeport Model United Nations at the National Model United Nations Europe Conference in Olomouc, Czech Republic on the 10th anniversary since the founding of the club, we are proud to announce that we have won three awards: Outstanding Delegates, Outstanding Position Paper and Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest award given to any participating group. The delegates in attendance include Simon Alejandro Arias, Khrystian Pereira, Bianca Diaz, and Youssef Agiez, with Steve Hess as faculty advisor. We were also surprised to have received an award for "Good Citizenship" based upon our delegation's additional service and volunteering at the conference. We would like to thank the UB Community for its continued support for our organization.

HURRAY! After working our butts off, we have finally achieved our directive! The Delegation of Uruguay, being represented by the University of Bridgeport Model United Nations Club, has received both an Outstanding Position Paper Award in addition to an Honorable Mention Delegation Award! Great Job Simon and Khrystian for your hard work and relentless devotion for the club! :)
We would like to give a special thanks to President Salonen for whom it would not be possible to attend this conference, Dr. Ward for his kind words of motivation and unconditional support for our delegation, and lastly, Dr. Wei who sacrificed her time and responsibility to embark on this journey with us and to share this great experience!
Have a safe trip back home and we can't wait to hear all about it!

Thank you all for such a great time in Rome! We had a wonderful Secretary General ;) and the GA had the best Director and Assistant Director any committee could ask for, with a special shout-out to the delegate of Cuba, Brazil, and many others for working super hard with Uruguay on many collaborative measures! :D
