I am beyond proud of these three young ladies! They traveled to Washington DC to compete in their respective categories! Spanish Literature (Yaritza and Citlali) and Exploring Administrative Careers (Abby, who placed in the top 10!). They are apart of a small group of Bridgeport high alum and current students who have gotten to do this. Thank you Bridgeport ISD and Bridgeport High School for supporting these students! These are memories they will never forget! Please pray for safe travels as they come home this evening! Congrats ladies!

Our State TAFE competition came to a close today! Bridgeport High School had six students compete in various competitions over the past two days! Of those students, we had two place!! I know how hard they’ve worked and proud of the effort they put into their projects.

Jadyn McCoy placed in the top 10 of Pre-K Children’s Literature, which earns her a chance to compete at Nationals this summer!!

Galilea Huerta and Genny Santoyo competed in Children’s Spanish Literature.

Aaliyah Ortiz competed in K-3 Children’s Literature

Ali Prado created a visual board for TAFE’s acts of service and earns a silver award

Savannah Whisenant wrote an essay over Educational Leadership Foundations, and placed on the top 5!!

Miranda Williams and Yazmin Gonzalez went as student helpers and to cheer on our competitor!

A huge shoutout to Sarah Sadler for going and being a co-sponsor and helping judge!

Again, I am beyond proud of all the students!! Congratulations!!
