The Olney Youth Symphonic Band is a free summer concert band program for middle school and high school instrumental musicians in the Olney, IL area. It brings together students from multiple schools to rehearse and perform quality concert band literature under the direction of local music educators. The ensemble is designed to provide an enriching musical experience beyond the regular school year while helping students maintain and develop their performance skills during the summer months — at Olney City Park.

As we are getting ready to wrap up the 25-26 school year. I need to send out a few reminders. This is for JH BAND STUDENTS AND FAMILIES!

The JH Band students need to return their blue polos and garment bags if they have not already.

Also, many students owe for reeds and other supplies. I will be sending reminders home for this as well.

This Fall, there will not be a formal JH Band camp. There will however be JH Drum Line Practice before school starts.
This will be July 27-29 from 9-10:30 am This is required. Please let me know right away if you have any conflicts. (I do have a little flexibility with times).

HS Band Camp is August 3-6. Times forth coming.
(Future 9th graders pay attention to this!)
