On April 27th, Fly Dance Competitions will be holding their regional dance competition here in the beautiful Mertens Theater. With competing dance academies running the gamut of genres, from ballet to hip-hop to modern jazz and everything in between, it’s sure to be a spectacular day of dance. April 25th is our Senior Class Exhibition Opening in the Schelfhaudt Gallery. From 6pm to 9pm, the Senior class will be showing their works across multiple disciplines – painting, traditional illustration, digital media, graphic design, photography, industrial and interior design. All are welcome to come celebrate their portfolios with us.

April 19th will usher in the Latinos In Action Leadership Conference. LIA is a national non-profit dedicated to promotion of excellence and leadership in high-school age Latinos across the country. Their annual conference brings together five to six hundred local latino high-school students for a day of celebration including cultural programming, keynote speakers, and targeted breakout sessions.
