We believe in recognizing both achievement and growth! Our students showed up in a big way on this yearโs SBAC assessments!
Students who demonstrated significant improvement or sustained excellence were entered into a special raffle as part of our incentive program. 12 students were selected from the raffle and earned the opportunity to choose a special lunch and enjoy it in the teacherโs lounge!
More than just a fun reward, this experience celebrates what we value most, hard work, continuous growth and striving for the excellence!

๐๐ Earth Day Celebration with the CT Sun ๐๐
We were warmly welcomed by the Connecticut Sun for a truly unforgettable Earth Day experience with our Discovery Magnet School girls in grades 3โ5 at SHU's Discovery Science Center & Planetarium โ๏ธโจ
A huge thank you to the CT Sun for creating such an inspiring and empowering day for our young ladies. There is so much excitement surrounding their Solar Sisters initiative, which truly reflects the power of womenโs leadership and the meaningful impact it has on both our communities and the environment. ๐๐ฑ In addition, students explored new exhibits and enjoyed engaging, handsโon activities throughout the day. Moments like these help our students see themselves as future scientists, leaders, and dedicated stewards of our Earth.
