We will be taking a break for the month of September at Gibbs Music Studio.

During this pause, we will be working toward a few objectives to continue the effective maintenance and growth of the studio, and enhance the learning and development of our students.

Our summer schedule's final week is here as we transition to back-to-school hours.
Students taking lessons this summer are becoming equipped to be confident musicians in their music classes, bands, and choirs in their school settings! I am so eager to hear about their experiences and how they were able to achieve success in their musical journey!

Our studio added 2 clarinet students last week and they are working hard!

We work this over and over in our lesson times. Reading is power, especially with music!

Regular practice in naming notes unites the two reading fundamentals: reading by interval, and knowing the letter name of the note being played. Discrete note recognition, systematically integrated with directional reading, helps ensure success.
