📢 Attention Bridgeport Families with Young Children!

The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood is asking families to participate in a Local Needs Assessment to help better understand the needs of children and families in our community. Your feedback will help guide future priorities, services, and supports for early childhood programs in Bridgeport.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by scanning the QR code on the flyer. Flyers are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole. Families can also select their preferred language in the top right corner of the survey.

🎉📚 End of the School Year Spirit Week is here! 📚🎉

We are so excited to celebrate an amazing school year with a fun-filled Spirit Week from June 15–19! Each day will have a different theme for our students and staff to enjoy together. 💜✨

🛏 Monday – Pajama Day
💃 Tuesday – Prom Day
🤠 Wednesday – Last Rodeo
🎓 Thursday – Graduation / Wear Purple
🇺🇸 Friday – No School (Juneteenth)

We can’t wait to see everyone participate and make some special end-of-year memories together! Thank you to all of our families for your continued love and support throughout the school year. ❤️

🌎💚 Happy Earth Day from Cheyenne’s Early Learning Center! 💚🌎

This week, our classrooms came together to celebrate Earth Day through hands-on, meaningful activities that helped our children learn the importance of caring for our planet. 🌱

Our infants & Preschool 1 explored creativity by painting with recycled materials, showing that even the smallest hands can make a big impact! 🎨♻️

Some of our classes got their hands a little dirty by planting seeds, learning how we can help things grow and give back to the earth. 🌼🌿

Our toddlers took pride in their environment by participating in a playground clean-up, helping keep our outdoor space safe and beautiful. 🧹🌍

And our Preschool 3 class created homemade bird feeders using bagels, sun butter, and bird seeds, then enjoyed a nature walk to hang them in the trees around our school—giving back to the animals in our community. 🐦🌳

We are so proud of our children for learning how small actions can make a big difference. Together, we are growing kind, thoughtful, and environmentally aware little learners! 💚

🎨🐰 What a FUN way to kick off Spring Break at Cheyenne’s Early Learning Center! 🌸🥚

This week, we celebrated National Crayon Day with lots of bright colors, creativity, and smiles all around! Today, we wrapped things up with some extra excitement our children enjoyed taking adorable pictures with our blow-up bunny 🐰📸 and had a blast during our egg hunt!

Moments like these remind us how special it is to create joyful, meaningful experiences for our children every day. 💛

Spring Egg Hunt at Cheyenne’s Early Learning Center! 🥚🌷

We are collecting pre-filled plastic eggs for our Annual Spring Egg Hunt on April 2.

Donation Deadline: March 30
Please remember:
• No peanuts or peanut products
• Fill eggs with small candy, stickers, or toys
