Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our annual Celebrity Breakfast featuring sports fashion icon David Beckerman and ESPN analyst Seth Greenberg!
We loved getting to share the morning with you, hear from a legendary leader in sports, and make a huge impact for the next generation of innovators here in Bridgeport.
Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Bartlett Tree Experts, for bringing this special event to life!
As always, the Celebrity Breakfast isn’t just about great stories and great food—it’s about rallying behind the mission of Hall Neighborhood House. By being part of our special morning, you supported our HNH LEADS high school students, reminded us of the strength and generosity of our community, and invested in the future of our Innovation Center at Hall. Thank you!

Hall Neighborhood House not only makes a difference for the children, students, seniors, and families in our programs—it impacts our staff in amazing ways, too! When reflecting on what she loves most about Hall, Ms. Cesarina noted that because of Hall, she was able to buy her house!
We're so grateful for amazing teachers like Ms. Cesarina who serve our community with love, care, and enthusiasm each and every day.

Three cheers for another amazing year of our after-school program! 🎉🎉🎉 We celebrated the last day with a picnic!
Students played games, enjoyed delicious food, and received awards—and the highlight of the celebration was breaking a piñata! 🪅
Thanks to all of the counselors, students, volunteers, and staff who made this year such a success. We can't wait to see everyone for summer camp!

It's a great week for birthdays! 🎁🎉
Edith, our Senior Services Director; Maria, one of our amazing seniors; and Bob, our Executive Director, all celebrated birthdays this week!
We always love getting to celebrate together, and our seniors made it extra special by baking Bob his very own cake! 🎂

We had an amazing time at Hallen School's STEM Day! 🧬🧪🔍🚀
Students participated in tons of activities and learned about all different types of STEM subjects, from chemistry to aerodynamics to forensics and more! Students even built robots to make art!
They ended the day as they always do, with a bang. 💥

Welcome to the new Diane Harvin Family Resource Room! 💜
At the end of May, we unveiled a new plaque in our family resource room, dedicating the space to Ms. Diane Harvin and naming it The Diane Harvin Family Resource Room. Her family and members of our staff gathered for a small dedication event on the day before her birthday, wearing purple (which was her favorite color!) or a corsage with a purple flower.
The inscription on the plaque reads as follows:
"The Diane Harvin Family Resource Room honors a remarkable legacy of dedication and care.
For nearly 50 years, Diane Harvin was a cherished member of the Hall Neighborhood House family, guiding generations of students and teaching both the children and grandchildren of those she once inspired.
Her unwavering commitment to our community and the families we serve lives on in this space."
We're so grateful to have this special room honoring someone who has left such an important legacy at Hall Neighborhood House. We will cherish her memory forever!
