“I love being able to make a difference in a child’s day, even in the smallest ways.”
Ms. Nicole (Ms. Coco), our head teacher in B104, has been a head teacher here at Hall for about 3 years and has worked with children for over 10 years. She first came to Hall as a student, and says that it really feels like she’s come full circle to now teach in the place she was educated.
After many years of working with children of all age groups and in many different settings, she realized that being an Early Learning teacher was where she belonged. She loves how no two days are the same with her students, and she loves getting to be a part of every moment, no matter how small.
Ms. Nicole’s goal is to make sure that each of her students feels loved, safe, and excited to learn when they are in her classroom. She tries to create endless opportunities to explore, get creative, and become independent.
As a teacher, her proudest moments are when she watches her students have breakthroughs in their learning and development, and when she reflects on just how much each of her students has grown from the time they first started in her classroom to when they are about to leave.
Over the years, being a teacher has taught Ms. Nicole the importance of flexibility and patience, and she is so grateful for the impact she can have on a child during such a critical point in their development, even for the short amount of time she has with them.
Join us in celebrating Ms. Nicole! Drop a heart and show her some love in the comments!
