I know we haven't posted much recently, but here's a recap of the last few weeks! 😁 we've been working on gross and fine motor skills, creativity, building, engineering, encouraging imagination, and so much more! Encouraging learning through conversations, activities, and play!

Who needs toys 🧸 when you’ve got boxes 📦? 😅

Outside time is always a big hit for all of our kiddos, regardless of their age! We've been taking advantage of our nicer days, that's for sure! 🙌

We are thrilled to welcome Bridgeport to the Communities for Kids (C4K) network! We held a fantastic and fun orientation meeting on Wednesday, January 22, bringing together local leaders, parents, and community members eager to learn about collective impact and explore solutions to strengthen early childhood care & education.

Our partnership with Bridgeport is an amazing opportunity to collaborate, share resources, and empower the next generation. Together, we’ll work on stabilizing and expanding early childhood capacity while strengthening the community's economic growth through education. We can’t wait to see the amazing things we can achieve!

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the session including Mike Feeken with our partners at First Five Nebraska to help discuss ways to shift the conversation to bring other community members to the table and how policy work is important to early childhood in communities. We look forward to continuing to build connections and create lasting impact for children and families.

Here's some fun we've been having the last few days! 😍

Working on balance and gross motor skills through challenges and play! Fine motor skills, creativity, science, literacy, and math through activities, play, story time, and a field trip to the Wildcat Hills Nature Center and State Recreation Area Preschool Program! We learned all about earth worms today! 🪱😁😎
