This past weekend was a busy one for Outdoor Adventures!!

First, setting up for the tailgate for City of Bridgeport, TX 150th celebration! The Bridgeport High School did a great job serving our community and we appreciate their help!

Second, we had a group of gentlemen at Lake Whitney competing in a fishing tourney for Texas High School BASS Association! One fish was turned in, but I truly think there’s never a bad day on the water!

Lastly, we had two teams competing at Southlake for the High School BBQ Inc. - HSBBQ Regional! Our kids did great and both teams qualified for a spot at State in Round Rock!! There were some firsts by these kids and they did great! We will continue to practice and will be ready for State!

Good afternoon!!! Todays the day that kicks off the birthday celebration. If you purchased a meal, your game ticket will be your entry to get your sandwich. If you’re not planning on attending the game, there will be someone at the front gate to run and grab your meal. The City of Bridgeport, TX will also be selling a meal to the first 100 walk ups, the cost is $5! Thank you to everyone who purchased a meal! I hope that everyone has a great time.

Update** your Angry Bulls BBQ team placed 33rd overall!**. This was out of 92 total teams!

Yesterday, we had two teams working very hard at the High School BBQ Inc. - HSBBQ state competition! Each time these kids compete, they get better! We competed against 90 other teams and here is how we did, The Angry Bulls dessert made by Kenlee Kleam placed 8th and The BBQ Boys brisket made by Elijah Lara placed 26th. I am beyond proud of all the students! Make sure you congratulate these kids on their success this year!

Tomorrow, this group of students will begin their day at 4:30 am! The Angry Bulls and BBQ Boys will go against 92 other teams to see which high school is the best at BBQ!! The highlight of the day was getting to pick our chip to see when we select meats and one of our teams gets to go first!!! Say a pray for a good and safe day! I’ll try and post throughout they day!

Today, we had the honor of fixing hot dogs for Bridgeport High School and Bridgeport Middle School as they celebrated opening day of the baseball season!

But wait, there’s more!

We also cooked 60 lbs of pork for Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce as they are hosting the 15th annual Shoot the BS!! Shout out toMas Meat and Produce for providing the meat!

Thank you for giving these students these awesome opportunities!
