Big futures. One week. Zero application fees.

Bridgeport seniors are taking the next step! Our writing coach, Matt, spent last week at Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Texas, helping the entire senior class prepare their college applications.

Now it’s time to put that preparation into action.

During Texas’ Free College Application Week, Monday, October 12, through Sunday, October 18, Texas residents can apply for undergraduate admission to every Texas public college and university for FREE through ApplyTexas.

Submit your applications by 11:59 p.m. CDT on October 18 to qualify, just starting them alone isn’t enough!

Thank you, Bridgeport High School, for welcoming us. We’re cheering on your seniors and the possibilities ahead!

Last month we celebrated our College Board award recipients at a board meeting, but we wanted to shine a spotlight on these incredible students one more time!

A huge congratulations to Kara Elledge (class of ‘28) and Matthew Eslinger (class of ‘27) for placing in the top 10% nationwide in their categories! We are immensely proud of their hard work and dedication.

These prestigious academic honors will make a fantastic addition to their college applications. Join us in celebrating Kara and Matthew in the comments!

October is National Principals Month, and we are celebrating Tiffany Brubaker- principal of Bridgeport Elementary School!

Mrs. Brubaker brings encouragement, joy and a genuine love for students to BES every day.

Join us in thanking her for creating a school where our young students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn!

Back when aquanet was an accessory and Michael Jordan defied laws of physics, Bridgeport High School was built! Like any aging home, basic repairs no longer cut it; modern infrastructure is a safety necessity.

Supporting school improvements isn’t about luxury—it’s about reliable plumbing, roofs that don’t leak, classrooms that don’t flood, and HVAC systems that work.

Our students work hard and deserve a safe place to learn. Let’s invest in our kids and secure a sustainable path forward for our community.
