I received the following from a customer who bought some rebuilding supplies back in late may 2025:
"Hi John,
Didn’t place an order this time, I’m just using this email train to send you a personal thank you.
My 98 year old mother - who grew up with the player piano I’m restoring - passed on recently but with the help of your wonderful website, the materials you provide and above all the clear and detailed instructions you show I was able to get the Player working again while she still had enough strength to enjoy it. There is still work to be done on it so you’ll be getting more requests from me, but it sounds the best it has for 40 years.
Watching your videos and reading your materials was such a pleasure and it gave me inspiration to keep going to a successful result. I’m so glad you have “archived” the knowledge and experience you clearly have spent so much time acquiring.
Have a wonderful Holiday season and hopefully you’ll hear from me again next year.

If you are thinking of getting off FB because of the volume of sales ads and trash stuff. Hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’ Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field. Click paste. This upgrades the system.

Late last year, I was asked to replicate the Reroll/Repeat switch from an early Ampico 'B' player system. Working only with pictures and measurements provided by the rebuilder in Switzerland, I created CAD files of the base and cap and had the parts made by Shapeways. Today I received the following email, "Here is the Ampico B with your wonderful repeat switch (and other materials you delivered). The switch works well, but it was a challenge to get the reroll/repeat system work correct since this Instrument appears to be a prototype of the B model and the drawer mechanism is not fully developed. Someone on one of the other Facebook player piano pages was trying to find 'new' music on music rolls. I checked with QRS and they have a 2023 catalog available for download. Go to 'qrsmusic.com' and click on 'Support'. Then scroll down to 'Product Catalogs'. Then click on '2023 QRS Piano Roll Catalog'.
