Governor Mikie Sherrill and Donald J. Trump flew over Brick Memorial High School. Mikie said the experience made her get along better with the president and she shouted: “GO MUSTANGS! BOO DRAGONS!”
Trump agreed that Mustangs are the best and Dragons are terrible, we need to defeat them to fix this economy. He also says he’ll build a border wall around the school and Brick High will pay for it.

As a someone who graduated Brick Memorial High School in 2008, I shed a tear of joy and waved to the helicopter.

18-Year-Old Brick Memorial Student Identified as Victim of Fatal Wall Township Crash

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — An 18-year-old Brick Township resident who was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Wall Township early Thursday morning has been identified by his family as Joshua Guarino, a student at Brick Memorial High School.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:36 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, along Squankum Allenwood Road.

According to the Wall Township Police Department, emergency crews responded to reports of a vehicle that had left the roadway. Upon arrival, first responders located a gray 2006 Honda Civic in a wooded area off the westbound lane with extensive damage.

Guarino, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

In a heartfelt message announcing his passing, family members described Joshua as an “adventurous, caring, and bright young man” who brought light into the lives of those around him.

“He had his whole life ahead of him, and his loss has left our family, friends, and community completely heartbroken,” his cousins Gabrielle and Gianna Masucci wrote.

Joshua’s family said he will be remembered for his warmth, his smile, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

The family is now coming together to give Joshua the funeral and burial they believe he deserves while coping with the sudden loss of an 18-year-old whose life was only beginning. A fundraiser has been established to assist with funeral and burial expenses and other unexpected costs facing the family.

“Our family is devastated by this sudden and unimaginable loss,” Gabrielle and Gianna wrote. “Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to our family and help ease the financial burden as we focus on grieving and remembering Joshua.”

Members of the South Wall Fire Department, Glendola Fire Department, Monmouth County EMS, Hackensack Paramedics, and the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted at the crash scene.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by Lt. Andrew Baldino and Ptl. Joshua Wheeler of the Wall Township Police Department.
