What a way to close out our seminars for 2026. 🥋🔥

Yesterday, we had the honor of sharing the mats with Professor Andy Murasaki ANDY MURASAKI The Jiu Jitsu, details, concepts, and knowledge he shared were incredible.

What stood out most was his generosity. Andy took the time to answer every question, explain every detail, and make sure everyone understood. One day with him gave our team knowledge that will continue to elevate Jiu Jitsu at the Haus.

Professor Andy, thank you for your time, patience, and generosity. It was an honor having you with us. 🙏

And to everyone who showed up, THANK YOU. These opportunities happen because of this community and the support you continue to give the Haus.

To those who couldn’t make it, you’re part of this too. Hopefully we will be able to fit everyone soon. We’re growing, and we’ll keep finding ways to create more experiences like this for our entire community.

Our last seminar of the year couldn’t have ended better.

We keep learning.
We keep raising the level.
We keep building together.

🚨🚨 PROMOTION 🚨🚨

Today was an incredibly special day.

On a day where we had an amazing seminar with Andy Murasaki(that we will talk about i) and so many great people together on the mats, I also had the honor of promoting someone very special to me to BLACK BELT. 🥋🖤

Matt Matt Alioto @ has been with me since 2015.

From white belt all the way to black belt.

But this journey is about so much more than the color of a belt.

Matt was there through the good times and the bad times. When everything was going great and when everything seemed to be falling apart. Through changes, moves, struggles, growth and new beginnings, he was there. When it was time to build Jiu Jitsu Haus, he was there again from day one.

He took the road trip with me to get the mats (btw hilarious trip and crazy) He helped me install them. He helped us build our programs. Today he is one of our instructors and someone I trust completely.

But more than any of that, Matt is like a little brother to me.

That is why putting this black belt (my own belt that’s why the degrees are there) around his waist today meant so much.

More than 10 years of showing up. More than 10 years of growing together, believing in each other and being there for one another, and having so many members of our community there to witness that moment made it even more special.

I hope moments like today remind everyone at Jiu Jitsu Haus what we are trying to build here.

We are in this together.

Believe in each other. Support each other. Be there during the good times, but especially during the hard ones. Help the person next to you become better, and allow them to do the same for you.

Then one day you look around and realize you didn’t just build better jiu jitsu.

You built something together. You built a community. You built a home.

Congratulations my Dude!💪

From white belt to black belt. From student to instructor. From a teammate to someone I consider family.

I couldn’t be more proud of you, homie.

And we’re not done yet. 🖤🥋

Jiu Jitsu Haus × We Defy Foundation

Jiu Jitsu HAUS x PROVE THEM WRONG

This Veterans Day, we’re bringing the JJH family AND our local community together for something bigger than Jiu Jitsu. 🥾🥋

On Wednesday, November 11, we’ll be replacing our regular evening classes with a community Ruck & Roll in support of the We Defy Foundation and their mission of helping disabled combat veterans through Jiu Jitsu.

📍 Meet at Jiu Jitsu Haus
⏰ 5:30 PM
🥾 Approximately 2–3 mile ruck on the trail behind the gym
🥋 Open Mat immediately after

And this is OPEN TO EVERYONE! JJH members, kids, adults, parents, friends, veterans, first responders, other academies and anyone in our local community who wants to join us and support a great cause. 🇺🇸

Participation is FREE.

💵 Suggested donation: $20 per person or more 😎( if you can’t make it we will also have a link in our bio for donations)

❤️ 100% of all donations will go directly to the We Defy Foundation.

You don’t have to train Jiu Jitsu to come do the ruck with us. Bring your family, bring a friend and come be part of it.

Let’s get a BIG group together and show what our community can do when we come together for a purpose.

THROWBACK THURSDAY TODAY IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Las Vegas 2026 🎰🥋❤️

Another World Master and Jiu-Jitsu Con is in the books, and once again, this trip reminded us that Jiu Jitsu is about so much more than what happens during a match.

First, we are extremely proud of everyone who stepped onto those mats and represented Jiu Jitsu Haus. Competing on a stage like this takes courage. You trained, prepared, traveled across the country, put yourself out there and gave everything you had. Win or lose, that deserves respect. 👊

But these trips are also about everything around the competition. The time together, the laughs, the dinners, watching teammates compete, exploring Vegas and simply getting to know each other outside of the gym. Those experiences bring us closer and add another layer to what we are building at the Haus.

A HUGE thank you to all the family members and friends who made the trip to Vegas to support the team. ❤️ And just as important, thank you to everyone back home who was watching, messaging, checking results and cheering us on from New York. We felt the support.

Every year we come back with more experience, more motivation and a stronger team. We learn from the wins, we learn even more from the losses, and then we get back to work.

We’re proud of our competitors. We’re proud of our people. And we’re proud of the community we continue to build together.

Vegas, thank you for another unforgettable experience. 🎰

Now it’s back to the mats, back to work, and the goal is simple…

We’ll be back next year. Better and stronger. 🥋🔥
