Our jazz ensembles are working hard on an incredible program for the 2026 Jazz Institute's finale concert featuring Branford Marsalis! Join us Thursday, June 11, at 7:30 PM to watch our students and world-renowned faculty perform side-by-side with the wonderful music they've been rehearsing all week at BMC. 🎷

Some highlights from our NEW Adult Chamber Music Workshop! 🎻

Over the past week, musicians of all ages came together to learn, grow, and connect over their shared passion for chamber music. Students participated in a packed schedule of rehearsals, coaching sessions with faculty members, and chamber music seminars. The week concluded with a fabulous final performance that celebrated their hard work and dedication. 🎵

Our Jazz Institute students just arrived for a whirlwind week of rehearsals, recording sessions, and one-on-one mentoring with world renowned faculty and guest artists.

📢Calling all violists📢

We have limited spots available for high school viola (ages 14-18, including graduating seniors) in the Brevard Music Center's summer High School Orchestral Institute, June 21-August 2. Our 2026 guest artists include cellist Yo-Yo Ma, violinist Gil Shaham, violist Paul Neubauer (premiering a new viola concerto), the Shanghai Quartet, and many more.

Students will receive weekly lessons, studio classes, sectionals, chamber music coachings, numerous rehearsals and symphony orchestra performances, guest artist masterclasses, and tons of incredible concerts to attend throughout the summer.
