Floyd's Nursery will have Pulmonaria this week at market. This evergreen, shade loving plant, is very deer resistant. It has beautiful blue flowers in early Spring when little else is blooming. This plant works well with Japanese Painted Ferns, Christmas Ferns, Red Coral Bells, Helleborus, just to name a few. Price - $6.50 gallon pot

This week at Transylvania Farmer's Market, we will have these beauties. This is a Black-Eyed Susan that has a mounding habit, is loaded with flowers and has a very long bloom time. The variety is American Gold Rush, it gets 22" high with a 24" spread. It likes full sun or at least 4 hours of sun. It is more resistant to Septoria leaf spot that can hit Black-eyed Susans when the humidity gets high. Price is $6.00 - gallon pot

Pulling for the Transylvania Farmer's Market this Saturday the 8th. Don't forget, new hours: 9-12 am.
First Market Day of 2021! We will be there with Azaleas, Rhododendron 'PJM', Pieris 'Flamingo' and Viburnums that smell soooo sweet! We also are bring some perennials: Bleeding hearts, Astilbes, Tassel Ferns, Variegated Soloman's Seal, Epimedium, Hellebores, and others that are ready. Market is this Saturday 10-12, masks required.
