Carolinas Chapter leaders spent a wonderful few days in Detroit for CMAA’s Leadership & Legislative Conference (LLC), kicking off the Club Management Association of America's Centennial year!

It was such a pleasure to connect with leaders from chapters across the country and spend time with many of our valued Partners. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and celebrate all that makes CMAA such an incredible Association.

The networking party at the Detroit Athletic Club was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was absolutely unmatched, with every detail thoughtfully executed and a level of service that made the evening feel so special. The food and beverage experience was absolutely off the charts. It was the perfect setting to connect, laugh, and build relationships with fellow CMAA leaders and Partners while experiencing a taste of what this special club has to offer. Thank you to Charles Johnson and his talented team for the most memorable evening and a true highlight of LLC!

Now, we’re looking ahead with excitement to celebrating CMAA’s Centennial at World Conference in Chicago this February. What a special time to be part of CMAA, as we honor our rich history, celebrate the journey that brought us here, and look toward an exciting future for our Association.

We're excited to featured Joyce Halama, CCM, Strategic Club Solutions, and Dr. Charlotte Brown, Eve Spring and Tracy Rivers, esteemed HR pros from our very own member clubs: Forest Lake Club, Carolina Country Club and Charlotte Country Club! This is perfect event to bring multiple team members to - as you dive into the employee life cycle, onboarding and training, and nurturing relationships and managing difficult conversations. You're already doing HR, but this workshop will help you hack it and handle it like pro! Then off we go to the golf course to have some fun outside the classroom - outing sponsored by Diamond Partner, Expert Aquatics!
