Parents of Brevard Middle School and High School Band students are invited to join us on Thursday, August 20, at 6:30 PM for our annual Band Parent Meeting.

This meeting is an opportunity to learn everything you need to know about the upcoming school year, including important procedures, expectations, and opportunities for student participation. We will also provide an opportunity for parents to ask questions and learn how you can support the continued growth and success of our band program.

We look forward to seeing you and partnering with you for another successful year!

👏 TEACHER OF THE MONTH: Mr. Topher Kane, our esteemed band director, pours his musical talent, passion, and dedication into over half of our student population every single day. His commitment extends far beyond the classroom as he collaborates with musicians across the county to provide enriching opportunities and continue building a strong, vibrant band program. His impact is felt schoolwide, and we are grateful for the energy and excellence he brings to Brevard Middle School!!

Congratulations to all of our Brevard High School Band students who have been working so hard to earn a spot in the 2026 All District Honor Band! All of the students who spent time preparing, grew tremendously as musicians throughout this process. Seven BHS students were chosen to participate this year and will meet at WCU on February 6-7th. Two of those students are eligible to audition for the North Carolina All State Honor Band in March. Congratulations!!!
