Salt and Light Sitting Co Hi, I’m Allison! I offer trusted babysitting, pet sitting, and house sitting—drop-ins or overnights. I also provide personalized tutoring to help kids succeed.

Caring, dependable, and flexible so you can be away with peace of mind I am willing to travel from from Brevard in either direction towards Asheville or Lake Toxaway during the summer months and winter break. I will travel to your home and watch your children there, or take them to do some outdoor activities. During the school year I am in school at Western Carolina University and would enjoy work

ing in Cullowhee/Sylva as well! I have a lot of experience with children from newborn to 13 years old. I can provide references upon request. I am CPR/First Aid Certified as well. I also have a lot of experience with dog/pet sitting as well.

Hey friends 🤍

Now that summer is almost here and the kids are going to be home, I wanted to post some random availability I have coming up for childcare/date nights/sanity breaks 😂☀️

I’m not looking to take on any full-time positions right now, but I do have some occasional availability for:
• date nights
• mother’s helper hours
• random daytime childcare
• last minute help if I’m available
• dog walking/pet check-ins 🐶

I especially love mother’s helper type days where I can help lighten the load a little — things like light cleaning, folding laundry, tidying up, entertaining the kids, or even taking them to the park for a couple hours so you can catch up on things at home the way you like them done 🤍

I have very limited availability for pet sitting overnight stays in owners’ homes right now, but I’m open to discussing needs on a case-by-case basis!

I am currently accepting new clients and looking to fill morning and afternoon time slots with dog walking services. If you have an active dog who would benefit from consistent exercise, enrichment, and attentive care during the day, I would love to support your routine.

Dogs must be comfortable around children as my 18 month old joins, she’s been tagging along since day one and loves all the animals!

I am also booking pet care for upcoming summer vacations and weekend travel. Can be overnight stays or drop bys. You can feel confident knowing your pets will be cared for with reliability, intention, and plenty of love while you’re away.

The warm, springy days lately have me missing my long dog walks, and I’m so ready to fill up my summer calendar!

🏡 Overnight stays (in your home only)
🥣 Drop-by visits for feeding, walks, and hangouts

As many of you know, my 17-month-old comes with me, so pets (and owners!) must be comfortable around little ones. She’s been around animals her whole life and loves tagging along.. it’s truly the sweetest combo. 🤍
