As we conclude Teacher Appreciation Week, I'm filled with heartfelt gratitude for the incredible educators who've shaped my life and the countless lives I've had the privilege to touch as a teacher. It's a profound honor to be part of a profession that fosters growth, learning, and love. I'm thankful for the journey we've embarked on at A Place to Grow, a school that's become a beacon of hope and development. Can’t get enough of the ocean? Visit the Great Bay Reserve today to feed the visitors in their touch tanks.

Grab a coffee and pastry and the Ginger Fox and take a family stroll along the boardwalk on the Great Bay. Watch the osprey, see the horseshoe crabs, and explore the very cool wigwam, take a spin on a gundalow. This was our favorite morning walk for a lot of years when my children were little.

🔦 Journey to the Midnight Zone! 🌊✨

This week, our little explorers dove deep—nearly 13,000 feet deep!—to explore the mysterious “Midnight Zone” of the ocean. Since the sun can’t reach this far down, we learned how amazing deep-sea creatures like the Anglerfish create their own “living light” (bioluminescence) to find their way.

From crafting glowing lures to braving our “Deep Sea Cave,” the kids were mesmerized by the strange and beautiful adaptations of the deep. It’s been a week of wonder, reminding us that even in the darkest places, there is always a little light to be found! 💡🐟

Ask your Junior Scientist tonight: “How does an Anglerfish find its dinner in the dark?” You might be surprised by what they know!

Senate win! Voted ought to pass and will be on the consent calendar next week. Then it will be off to the governors desk for signature.

Tomorrow is a big day for another piece of key legislation that has the potential to increase childcare capacity in NH by reducing the multiple layers of red tape for small centers and family care providers. This is a bipartisan bill with full support of Gov Ayotte.
